I found 70 oz to be more than adequate. The fill cap is great and the small bit of plastic taste went away within a minute or two of use. It is built very sturdy and the sternum strap feels nice and secure. You have some storage space for small items but this is a very small bag so don't expect to put too many items in there.My first couple of gripes are about the mouthpiece. The rubber used in the mouthpiece attracts dust and lint pretty easily so a small cap would've helped keep it clean. A friend of mine also owns a Camelbak Hydration Pack and her's has a black rubber cap that pops open so she can drink from the mouthpiece underneath. Why they left this feature out is beyond me. My other gripe is that the mouthpiece is susceptible to freezing. I do realize that I was in 0-10 degree weather, however I purchased this item to use it while snowboarding so that kind of defeats... I received my 'bak today 4/30/11 and the reservoir was missing the quick link system. All the Amazon and official Camelbak documentation state that the Antidote bladders from OCT 2010 include the Quick Link. Contacted Amazon they're overnighting out a replacement. Others I have tried are more difficult. It's definitely worth every penny - I highly recommend it for all bikers. |
