As spillproof as the next cup, but since it doesn't require unnatural amounts of suction like most sippy cups, the child isn't at risk of developing tounge thrust and all of the issues associated with it.The #1 must have cup for children with a cleft, pre or post repair. Requires no suction and yet has a somewhat limited flow. Great for those needing to be off bottle before surgery and those after who haven't yet learned to suck. The best part of all is it's sold at most stores and doesn't require remortgaging your house to buy more than one! The cup itself does NOT LEAK at all, however after a sip is taken there is a little left over fluid around the rim which will dribble out if you tip the cup over. The flow rate seems just fine. Some reviewers complain about slow flow rate but its perfect for our baby. All this being said, it is just a cup...works as advertised...nothing more.NOTE: The manufacturer recommends using this for water and formula/milk only - No Juices etc. I'm guessing its because sweet drinks may get sticky and could keep the cup from functioning properly? |
