The performance of these is unsurpassed. In the cheaper ones she wears a medium but the material is cheap/thin. They stretch- to the point they move and cause leaks. Her nurse suggested wearing two at a time which helped but wearing one is bad enough. The material of the panty is more substantial with these and it makes a huge difference. They don't stretch or move and we've never had a leak yet. I was so impressed I bought the Tena maximum absorbency but these performed better (the pad on the other may be rated as more absorbent but the panty is cheap). The product itself I'd give 10 stars if I could but I just bought them at Walmart for $10 a package- almost half price so I'd give Amazon's pricing 1 star. She does this for two reasons: to extend the life of the product when she has light accidents and for long days when she might not be near a bathroom that makes it easy to change underwear. Comfort: This is where Tena really excels. My grandmother can't believe how soft and comfortable these are. When she was using the Depends brand underwear she would get tiny tears on the area of her skin that came in contact with the leg openings.
