So it leaches a little. Also the cow magnet barely stick to the bottle...the stainless steel seems to be 18/0, instead 18/8 which used by high end cookware. I'm not sure about what kind of stainless steel this one is.If you want to use it for ice cold water, then get the isolation sleeve for this bottle. Otherwise, it would be too cold to hold it with bare hand for long. Lastly, bite valve gets mold pretty easily if liquid stays in there for long period of time, and replacement is expensive. I decided to look into Camelbak, they do alot of different types of bottles and I really like this one, the Dogwood Stainless Steel bottle is just beautiful and the mouth spout is perfect for getting the right amount of liquid to really satisfy my thirst.
